Accommodation
Situated in İstanbul Technical University Ayazaga Campus. Vadi Student Dormitories has been booked by Organising Committee.
All rooms for 3 people.
Dorms are 15 minutes walk from Civil Engineering Faculty and Süleyman Demirel Cultural Center , 20 minutes walk from the subway.
ARRIVAL
Before anything that we can say about transportation in Istanbul, we should first say if you can reach ‘Taksim’ then it becomes way more easier to reach anywhere from ‘Taksim’.
You can take taxi from Taksim to ITU Ayazaga. It will cost around 30 TL.
We recommend you to take the subway or railway.
For bus and Metrobus you should have transportation pass called ‘Istanbulkart’ . You can buy it from kiosks.
There are couple ways to reach Istanbul Technical University Ayazaga Campus; where the meeting will be held and accommodation located.
M2 subway stations : (we highlighted important ones for arrival)
Yenikapı - Vezneciler - Haliç - Şişhane - Taksim - Osmanbey - Şişli Mecidiyeköy-Gayrettepe-Levent- 4. Levent - Sanayi Mahallesi - ITU Ayazaga - Ata. Oto Sanayi - Hacıosman
About HAVATAS : This is a direct shuttle bus system. It departs in every half an hour between 04:00 am - 01:00 am. You pay the fee to the driver.

1) From Sabiha Gokcen Airport (SAW):
SAW airport located on the Asian side of Istanbul and 55 kilometers far away to Taksim. Almost all low-cost airlines land to Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW).
We strongly recommend you to take HAVATAŞ buses to come to Taksim and then from Taksim take the subway (‘Metro’) M2. There is a station named “ITU
Ayazaga”.
HAVATAS costs 13 Turkish Liras (TL) from SAW to Levent and Taksim. Approximately in 50 minutes you will be at ‘Levent’. Approximately in 65 minutes you
will be at Taksim. (Travel time depends on the traffic jam).
You can reach Metro (Subway) from Levent, by walking into the ‘Kanyon Shopping Mall’.
Or, you can take a taxi from Levent. It will cost around 17-22 TL
For Taksim, you can take subway M2, to reach ‘ITU Ayazağa Station’.
Or as mentioned before, you can take taxi from Taksim to ITU Ayazaga. It will cost around 30 TL.
2nd option is E-3 bus. It works between 8.00 and 22.40. This one will take you ‘4. Levent Metro Station’ (Subway). From 4. Levent, you can take M2 subway to reach ‘ITU Ayazaga Station’.
Or , from 4. Levent, you can take a taxi, it will cost between 15-20 TL.
3rd option (If you want to have a small trip across the Bosphorus); you can take E-10 bus from SAW to Kadıköy. It works for 24 hours. You can also take HAVATAS to reach Kadıköy (the one that goes to Kadıköy, not Taksim). It will cost 8 TL with HAVATAS.
From Kadıköy you can get on the ferry to go to ‘Kabatas’. From Kabatas, you should take ‘Taksim-Kabatas Funicular’ to reach Taksim. Then, with M2 from
Taksim, you can reach ITU Ayazaga station.
2 ) From Istanbul Ataturk Airport (IST): The main airport is Istanbul Atatürk Airport (IST), which is located on the European Side of the
city, 28 kilometers away from ‘Taksim’. Most of the big airline companies land to Atatürk Airport and it is also the main hub of Turkish Airlines.
1st option is HAVATAS.
It will take you directly to ‘Taksim’ in approximately 40 minutes depending on the traffic jam of course. We recommend you to take HAVATAS. It’s 10 Turkish
Liras (TL) from Istanbul Atatürk Airport (IST) to Taksim.
2nd option is railway , you take M1a and come to ‘M1a Zeytinburnu Station’.
From Zeytinburnu, you can take tram to reach ‘Kabatas’. From Kabatas, you should take ‘Taksim-Kabatas Funicular’ to reach Taksim. Then, with M2 from Taksim, you can reach ITU Ayazaga station.
Or, from Zeytinburnu, you can take ‘Metrobus’ to reach Şişli Mecidiyeköy or Gayrettepe. It works for 24 hours. From Şişli Mecidiyeköy or Gayrettepe you can take M2 metro to reach ITU Ayazaga Station.
